Making a Trosky Bears roster is just the start. Each fall, Trosky National coaches come directly to our program to run a private tryout exclusively for Trosky Bears players: a direct shot at Trosky National and the Brewers Scout Team that most players never get access to.

16U / 17U: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the time commitment?
Typically 5–6 tournaments spanning summer and fall 2027, in events that draw the best competition and true college recruiting exposure. It's a limited schedule, but it takes priority over local/regional team commitments. Players are expected to attend practices, games, and events locally when they're not competing nationally.
What does it cost?
Cost depends on each team (age group) and is still being finalized.
What does the tryout itself look like?
Four hours of on-field testing, capturing measurables that get uploaded into your player recruiting profile, plus a pro-style workout with on-field hitting, drills, and instruction from Trosky National staff. Selected Trosky Bears coaches will be on-field to support.
Who should attend?
All Trosky Bears players 13U and up are encouraged to attend.
Is travel required?
Yes. All tournaments take place outside the Pacific Northwest, and travel costs are the responsibility of each player/family.

Local Tryouts
Tryout sessions run 1–2 hours. Coaches evaluate how a player plays, how a player competes, and how a player carries himself: players who want to be coached, players who compete, and players who handle failure and get right back to work.
